The Doepfer A-183-9 is a 2HP wide USB Power module. It has four USB ports directly accessible from the frontpanel, and a LED light at the bottom that shows if the module is active or not. The module can be used for powering other equipment like a USB-keyboard or any other device that uses 5 volt USB power. Charging your mobile phone or tablet, or powering one of those USB-lights or small fans is also possible.
Doepfer A-183-9 module features four USB ports on the frontpanel.
These can be used to power any device which is powered via USB (e.g. keyboards, smartphones, tablets, USB-lights).
A control LED at the bottom of the module indicates if the +5V are present.

The official presentation of the system at 1996 Frankfurt Musikmesse caught everyone by surprise and created lots of interest. After Doepfer published the specifications on his website, many instrument designers and engineers saw the potential of the new Eurorack format. Doepfer continues expanding their catalog of over 200 modules (and counting), operating from their modest offices in the outskirts of Munich.
