L-1 DP VCF — Four-Pole Discrete Filter with 20 Filter Responses
The DP VCF is a four-pole analogue filter with access to 6, 12, 18 and 24 dB/oct filter stages. By combining these stages in different ways, it offers 20 filter responses including low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, notch and double-notch variations.
From all of L-1's discrete filter designs, this is the broader and more characterful one, with a fuller and somewhat slower response. The large number of available filter shapes makes it particularly useful when the usual LP/BP/HP selection feels too limited.
