Der Mann mit der Maschine P8S8 — Illuminated Control for the Droid System.
Eight illuminated sliders cut through the darkness of your modular system. The P8S8 controller gives DROID users expanded control with visual feedback. Each 20mm slider contains an LED that reflects its position - or whatever else you program it to display.
The module's black panel houses these eight sliders plus eight three-way toggle switches below them. This straightforward layout practically begs to be used as a modulation sequencer or envelope controller, though the DROID system's near endless flexibility means you're never locked into one purpose.
Speaking of flexibility - the LED brightness for each slider can be controlled independently. When not specifically programmed, they act as position indicators, glowing brighter as you move up the slider. This immediate visual feedback proves especially useful in low-light performance situations.
The P8S8 connects easily to your DROID system via the included ribbon cable. For those who like to spread their modules out, longer cables are available separately. The sliders operate just like standard potentiometers, making programming straightforward while maintaining the never-ending possibilities that DROID is known for.
True to DROID's philosophy, the P8S8 becomes whatever you need it to be. Sequence voltages, shape envelopes, mix audio - the hardware provides the interface, you provide the imagination.
