The DROID MASTER18 is like the minimalist sibling of the full DROID MASTER—leaner, cheaper, and aimed at creating control voltages without all the extras of the larger version. That means no CV inputs or flashy LEDs, just MIDI, USB-C, and a solid set of CV- andgate outputs.

With low jitter 16 bit DA converters, the MASTER18 is a reliable workhorse for a lot of voltage-based tasks you throw at it: sequencing, modulating, generating LFOs, slew limiting, quantizing and more. Setting up patches should be pretty straightforward and easy using the DROID Forge software, a simple editor that runs on Mac and Windows. Just load your patch onto the microSD, plug it in, and you should be good to go. If you want more hands-on control of the parameters within your patches, the MASTER18 also plays great together with other modules from the DROID series and the Sinofonion!
