Droid is an expandable, universal CV processor with eight inputs and outputs.
Droid is programmed by uploading patches as text files (any text editor can be used) via SD card. The patches can range from simple tasks like LFOs and logic functions to whole sequencers with quantizers. At the moment 35 virtual modules are available for patching. The really good documentation of Droid explains very well how to create and edit patches. It is indeed not very difficult and does not require any programming skills to create a patch in a few steps. Droid can be extended with two different expanders. The G8 expander expands Droid with eight bidirectional jacks. These can either receive or output gate signals. The P2B8 controller expands Droid with two freely programmable potentiometers and eight freely programmable switches with LED. Multiple units of each expander can be used. with one droid master.
