The Cwejman QMMF-4 is the big—sorry, huge—brother of the magnificent RES-4 and surpasses its concept by far
It features four ultra-stable multimode filters or four resonators with three different resonance modes, three switchable filter types (plus fixed notch), individual inputs and outputs per filter, and the master section familiar from the RES-4, as well as dry/wet options. What a monster for filter and resonator applications, drum sounds, equalizing, etc.
Each of the filters has its own audio input, two controls for coarse and fine tuning of the cutoff frequency, two cutoff CV inputs (CM1 adjustable, CM2 CAL with 1V/octave), and the voltage-controllable Q-PEAK resonance circuit with three modes: OSC allows resonance up to self-oscillation, OSC SAT does the same with saturation (as in the MMF filters), RES does not reach self-oscillation but is perfect for filter pinging (as in the RES-4).
The switchable filter types are low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass, with the notch available on its own output.
The filter is followed by a VCA called Output Fader with the corresponding Level CV input. The LP/BP/HP signal can be tapped pre-fader or post-fader (before or after the VCA), which does not affect the notch.
The master section controls all four filters simultaneously, in addition to the individual CVs. It has a master cutoff control and the corresponding freq CV input, a main audio input whose signal is fed to all four filters. The dry/wet mix is voltage controllable, and the volume of the wet signal can also be controlled separately and is voltage controllable. The notch output carries the mix of all four notch filters, while the MMF output carries the mix of the multimode filters.
