The Cre8audio NiftyKEYZ is a 49-key keyboard with 112HP of Eurorack space built into it. Four pairs of CV/Gate outputs, velocity, aftertouch, buffered mults, audio outs — it's a platform for building your own keyboard synth out of modules. Fill it with oscillators and filters, patch it up, play it. The concept picks up where the discontinued Waldorf KB37 left off, but with an extra octave and more HP.
The four CV/Gate pairs can be split across keyboard zones however you like — four mono voices, one polyphonic patch, two duophonic halves, whatever works. A multi-mode arpeggiator locks to internal or external clock. The mod wheel toggles between straight voltage and a clock-synced LFO with five shapes. Dedicated outs for velocity, aftertouch and expression mean you've got modulation sources before you've even touched a module. You get two buffered mults on top, a sustain pedal input, USB and 5-pin DIN MIDI (class-compliant — i.e. no drivers). The power supply is generous enough — 1500mA on +12V, 1000mA on -12V and +5V each. Metal chassis, wooden sides and a solid feel.
