The ER-MicAmp is an incredibly high-quality audio interface for the ER-System by CB Electronics.
With the ER system from CB Electronics, you can create complex audio and CV routings, as well as snapshots that function like presets. Controlled by the Processor module, up to 16 expander modules can manage entire rooms of Eurorack gear.
The ER MicAmp adds an extremely high-end audio interface to this system. At its core is a refined field-effect transistor circuit that cleanly amplifies the tiny voltages coming from a microphone. Since CB Electronics are true pros when it comes to pro audio, the MicAmp delivers real studio quality for Eurorack, with crisp, shimmering highs and a powerful low-end response. Thanks to the digital control of the ER system, multiple presets can be stored and recalled with ease, which is great for live performers.
But the MicAmp has even more to offer. It includes 48V phantom power, high-pass and polarity control, envelope follower, trigger and gate outputs, multiple fixed gain settings, and plenty of audio inputs and outputs. All in all, it’s a truly outstanding audio amplifier.
Features:
- High-quality FET input microphone preamp with high-impedance line/instrument level input
- 48V phantom power
- XLR combo input with balanced Hi-Z (10M) jack input
- 3.5mm jack for mic/line/instrument input
- XLR line output
- High-pass filter (150Hz 6dB per octave) and polarity control
- Envelope and inverse envelope outputs -5V to +5V, with or without low-pass filter
- Trigger and gate outputs
- Controlled via the ER Processor with digital storage of all settings
- Selectable gains at the insert output: 16dB, 32dB, 48dB or 64dB
- Selectable gains at the XLR output: 22dB, 38dB, 54dB or 70dB
- Can be combined with ER-Gain+Sum for up to 92 dB variable gain at the XLR output in 0.25 / 0.5 / 1 dB steps
- Control via the XPatch app
