Buchla U.S.A. - 272e Polyphonic Tuner
This module combines four voltage controllable FM (VHF) radio receivers in one module. Radio stations can be stored in 20 memory locations. For each radio, either the memory location can be recalled or the received frequency can be controlled via CV. In the additional section "Polyphonic Facility" the radio stations can be triggered one after the other and provided with a simple attack / (sustain) / decay envelope.
This module accommodates four identical FM receivers: Tuner A, B, C and D.
Tuner A is the master. It fills the 20 station presets, so-called slots, with stations either manually or automatically. All tuners access the same 20 slots. Per module it can be selected whether the frequency or the selection of the memory locations is controlled. The selection of the slots can be done via CV or trigger in different modes. The Polyphonic Facility section allows to trigger the transmitters sequentially and to edit the amplitude with an attack/(sustain)/decay envelope.
In combination with the Preset Manager of the modules 206e and 225e all parameters can be stored and recalled.
