Xcelon Cue — Monitoring system for Boredbrain's Xcelon Mixer
The Cue expander from Boredbrain opens up pre-fader monitoring for the Xcelon mixer — just press any of the twelve blue cue buttons to preview the corresponding channel in your headphones while the main mix continues unaffected.
This 6HP module connects to your Xcelon mixer and its channel expanders (XP3 and Xi3) via ribbon cables in the back, tapping the signals before they hit the faders — i.e., PFL monitoring in a nutshell. You can audition individual channels, both FX returns, or the main mix through dedicated headphones or route the cue mix elsewhere using the stereo outputs. Super handy for any live situation where you need to tune oscillators, check levels, or sounds without broadcasting every adjustment to the room.
