The Audiowerkstatt Din2midi2din V2 enables synchronization between MIDI and DIN sync devices. The small box converts the synchronization format known as "DIN-Sync" or "Sync24" or "Sync48" into MIDI clock signals and vice versa. The Din2midi2din V2 has all functions of the original audio workshop Din2midi2din device, but is now delivered in a powder-coated steel case and stores its settings.
The Audiowerkstatt Din2midi2din V2 has a MIDI- and a DIN-Sync-output, where the clock signals are always output simultaneously. This makes it possible to synchronize a MIDI-enabled device to a DIN-Sync clock, or vice versa: a DIN-Sync device to a MIDI clock.
A button can be used to select whether the clock present at the DIN-Sync or MIDI input should be used and an LED indicates the selected input.
The unit operates as default in "Sync24" mode (24 clock pulses per quarter note). By holding down the button on power-up, the unit will start in "Sync48" mode (48 clock pulses per quarter note).
