Blend is a dual VCA and polarizing mixer with min/max and comparator outputs
The inputs CH1 and CH2 are normalized to 5V and can be attenuated or inverted. The mixer section offers besides the sum output also min, max and comparator output and can therefore output two input signals in four ratios. The Min and Max sections do not attempt to be precise Min/Max measurements and are within two diode decays of the actual Min or Max voltage. The VCA section is based on the LM13700 IC and tints the sound a bit in audio applications. The characteristic of the VCA is nearly linear with a slight tendency to exponential. Blend is excellent for mixing and processing CVs, but also shines as an audio processor like a stereo VCA.
