After Later Audio - Alan (Micro Turing Machine)
- Order number: 200328
- Depth: 25
Alan is a scaled down version of Tom Whitwell's Turing Machine: Alan has all the features of the classic version and offers connectivity to all known Turing Machine expanders.
Alan is a shift register based sequencer that is not programmed per step but generates random sequences that can be frozen and looped and then mutated step by step. The concept is inspired by the minimal music movement around Steve Reich, Philipp Glass etc. With the expanders Alan can be used as the heart of random sequences for melodies as well as drum arrangements and can be synchronized with other sequencers.

After Later Audio are Lenny and Clarissa from Seattle. They build clones of popular Eurorack modules but also have a much more extensive repertoire of self-designed modules for Eurorack systems.
