Trellis is a 6-to-3-channel stereo mixer in a fairly compact 22 HP package with CV control!
Six stereo signal sources can be routed to three stereo outputs. The level of each connection can be adjusted both manually and via control voltage. This makes Trellis a versatile tool for dynamic mixes, automated effect chains, and experimental feedback patches.
There is a stereo VCA for every intersection between an input and an output—for a total of 36 VCAs. Level control is configured individually for each connection and can be adjusted via a knob or control voltage.
Acid Rain Technology, of course, knows that most modular systems aren’t fully stereo-oriented. That’s why they’ve come up with a few clever solutions. If only the left jack is connected to an input, the signal is routed internally to the right channel. At the output, the left and right channels are combined if the left output jack is not connected.
