PM Channels adds two stereo channels to WMD’s Performance Mixer. Each channel offers two pairs of inputs (L / R), a toggle switch allows the user to select a set of connectors. Alternatively, the audio material coming in at both input pairs can be summed up and processed together. The module’s preamps are able to add up to 30 dB of gain. Therefore, it is not only possible to use PM Channels with modular equipment, but external synthesizers, drum machines and CD / MP3 players as well. The preamps are followed by aux sends, panorama and volume sections plus there is a cue routing option. Last but not least, PM Channels offers CV inputs for gain, level, pan and aux parameters.
A ribbon cable is used to connect PM Channels with the Performance Mixer. It is not possible to use the expander without the mixing console.
