Tubbutec - Sumtiple
- Order number: 180390
- Depth: 10
Tubbutec Sumtiple is a combination of a precision adder and an active precision multiple, each with three channels. Thanks to normalisation the adder can have a total of four outputs. The design uses very low offset opamps and 0,05% resistors to obtain very low gain and offset error. Thus it is the perfect tool for adding and splitting pitch CVs, without unintended voltage drop. A RGB-LED helps to visualise the polarity of the adder output signal or multiple input.
Tubbutec Sumtiple is composed of a three input precision adder and a three output active precision multiple.
The precision adder features a gain error of maximum 0,01% which is excellent for adding various pitch CVs.
It is normalised to the the multiple. Thus if nothing is connected to the multiple input, you get four outputs from the adder.
An RGB LED indicates the voltage of the adder output and the multiple input.
The active precision multiple provides a gain error of maximum 0,003% -perfect for sending the pitch CV or another control voltage, to up to three oscillators without any voltage drop!

Das Sumtiple bei Tubbutec
Berlin-based Tobias Münzer is the mastermind behind Tubbutec, who not only provides retro-fits for vintage synths (Roland Juno-6, SH-101, etc.), but impressed with his microtonal modular multitool µTune, which among other gazillion functions is capable of reading and writing Scala .scl files.
