TouellSkouarn - Ar Merc’het Brao (Module)
- Order number: 190519
Ar Merc'het Brao is a dual or stereo filter with a slope of -12 dB per octave. Distortion circuits add some musical aggression to audio signals.
Ar Merc’het Brao is comprised of two filters and two overdrive sections. As usual with Touellskouarn, the module has a Breton name: Ar Merc’het Brao means "The pretty girls". Ar Merc’het Brao can be used to process a stereo signal or two mono signals. The module is Eurorack as well as guitar friendly.
The filters are resonant with a slope of -12dB per octave. A switch makes it possible to choose between low-pass and high-pass. The filter cutoffs are voltage-controlled thanks to dedicated CV inputs. Additionally, the Ar Merc’het Brao features global controls for cutoff and resonance.
Both overdrive sections offer the classic and well known TouellSkouarn distortion sound.

Manual
TouellSkouarn was founded in 2010 in Plougastel-Daoulas, near Brest. All modules and stompboxes are named in Breton language (brezhoneg) and are made by hand using discrete high-quality components aimed to distort and scream louder than the ocean waves washing the cliffs on the coast of Brittany, France.
