Tiptop Audio’s Octogain combines eight voltage-controlled amplifiers with a full mixing section, offering both polyphonic dynamics processing and spatial positioning capabilities
Connection flexibility is a key feature, with all VCA inputs and outputs available through both Polytip and traditional 3.5mm jacks, supporting various patching approaches from full polyphony to complex multi-voice mono configurations. The linear CV response ensures precise amplitude control, with inputs accepting standard 0-5V signals and audio paths optimized for typical 10Vp-p modular levels. The global Offset control provides manual opening of all VCAs or positive bias for incoming control voltages. Sound quality remains pristine thanks to carefully selected '80s-era analog VCA circuits, while the efficient power design ensures minimal current draw from your Eurorack system.
