Buchla Quad Lopass Gate Model 292t
The first iteration of the 292t was not allowed to be sold in the EU because of some parts that were used. Now there is a special version of the Quad Lopass Gate! As with all modules from the Buchla and Tiptop Audio collaboration, the 292t is very close to the original circuit. We get four channels with lowpass gates that are switchable between the LoPass filter setting, the Gate setting (linear VCA) and a Combo of both - basically the lowpass gate setting. Of course, there are also four audio inputs and outputs as well as four CV inputs. These control the amplitude, the cut-off frequency of the filter or both in Combo mode.
The mix output is configured to sum the four channels as a 4-to-1 mixer. Now look at the name again - this is an original Buchla Lowpass Gate. Now finally available for Eurorack, thanks to the collaboration with Tiptop Audio. Exciting times!
