The Hyperion Effects Processor is the long-awaited multi-effects from Synthesis Technology. Dozens of high-resolution spectral effects, classic Synthesis Technology effects like Resampling Mini Delay and Deflector Shield, and another dozen time-based effects from delays to stutter effects to chorus and reverb are all inside. Internal LFOs and modulation inputs for each parameter keep everything moving nicely and in sync. There are six preset slots for each effect, and more presets can be stored on SD cards. There are stereo in/stereo out effects and mono-only effects. Two mono effects can be used at the same time. In addition, there are some useful utilities like oscilloscopes, tuners, VU meters, etc. Although the Hyperion Effects Processor is a very extensive module with complex effect types, the user interface and menu navigation is extremely intuitive and the manual rarely needs to be consulted.
