SetonixSynth Shaka-4 — Chainable Stereo Matrix Expander for the Shaka-8
The Shaka-4 adds another stereo output to a Shaka-8, along with a new column of four voltage-controlled matrix points — one for each stereo input pair. The signal path is the same all-analogue circuit as the main module, with an Initial level control running from silence to unity gain and an exponential CV input at every point. The expander connects by ribbon cable and carries a second header for chaining further units, taking the matrix from 4×2 to 4×3, 4×4 and beyond. If your Shaka-8 has run out of outputs — for an effects send, a parallel chain, a second mix — this is how you get them.
Features:
- Stereo matrix expander for the SetonixSynth Shaka-8
- Adds one stereo output and four voltage-controlled matrix points
- All-analogue signal path, identical to the main module
- Initial level control per point, from -100 dB to unity gain
- Exponential CV input per point, summed with the Initial setting
- Bipolar CV accepted; up to roughly +20 dB with a full 0–10 V signal
- Gain-linked stereo operation with independent L/R processing
- Two expander headers for chaining — 4×3, 4×4 and larger matrices
- Up to five expanders per Shaka-8 recommended
- Includes a 2 mm 12-pin ribbon cable
