P4L Modular KPG — Polyrhythmic Gate and Trigger Generator with 16 Outputs
KPG (Kosmik Pulse Generator) is a polyrhythmic gate and trigger generator that creates complex patterns from just four CV inputs. It uses the high/low states of these inputs to select between 16 gate outputs. Patch in a few LFOs, clock divisions or gate sequences, and KPG generates interlocking patterns for triggering drums, envelopes, sequencers and other modules.
A separate Sync input lets you control when gate generation is active, while individual outputs can be changed from gates to short triggers via jumpers on the back. The colourful, slightly cryptic front panel resembles some sort of cosmic wiring diagram, complete with LEDs showing the activity of the outputs. It's a playful way to turn a handful of simple signals into more intricate rhythms.
