P4L Modular Dual Stereo Looper — Two-Channel Stereo Looper with Pitch Shifting, Clock Sync, CV Control and Effects
Dual Stereo Looper is a two-channel stereo looper for Eurorack, with up to 40 seconds of recording per channel. Developed by P4L Modular together with Ambivalent Instruments, it's designed for hands-on improvisation and live performance. You can record and overdub loops, change their pitch by adjusting playback speed, reverse playback and build up layers of sound, all using a set of nice tactile key switches.
The two loopers share balance and feedback controls, plus a dry/wet mix, multimode filter and reverb. By assigning an external clock to one of the four CV inputs, you can record loops in lengths of 1, 2, 4 or 8 bars, very handy for keeping everything in time during a live set. The assignable CV inputs and dedicated recording and reset triggers for each channel bring plenty of patching possibilities into the equation. All in all, it's a nicely focused little instrument for building and manipulating loops on the fly.
