State variable filter with stereo imaging and switchable overdrive
IMÁGENES is an exceptionally versatile pair of filters. Many special features come together here:
- Two independent 2-pole OTA filters - switchable between LP, BP and HP.
- Voltage controlled stereo imager consisting of four VCAs. This allows the left and right audio signals to be continuously shifted to the other side of the panorama.
- Link switch to modulate the two filters with only one cutoff potentiometer or CV input respectively
- Switchable overdrive
- Pingable
- Dual mono or stereo operation
- Inverting attenuators on the main CV inputs allow very controlled modulations.
- Tuning stable over 5 octaves
The focus is not necessarily on a certain feature, although stereo imagers have been rather rare in Eurorack filters so far. Whether used as a stereo or dual mono filter, or as two sine oscillators, or as a dual pingable percussive source with extra overdrive, this pair of filters will always do a great job.
