Neumann KH 80 DSP — The Smallest Nearfields in the KH-range, Now with DSP Brains.
The KH 80 DSP is the smallest speaker in Neumann's KH line, housing a 4-inch composite woofer and 1-inch titanium tweeter in a polycarbonate cabinet. Despite its compact size, the bi-amplified design delivers 120W to the woofer and 70W to the tweeter — generous headroom for a monitor this small. Low-end reaches 57Hz, which goes further than you might expect from a 4-inch driver.
There's also network connectivity via a RJ45 Ethernet connector. Neumann.Control software (Mac, Windows, iOS) lets you adjust delay, EQ, and levels across multiple monitors from one interface — great for surround setups, and eliminates the need to crawl behind each speaker every time you want to adjust something. The DSP also works with Neumann's MA 1 room alignment system if you want to go that route. For quicker adjustments, a rear-panel switch compensates for different desktop placements.
The KH 80s work well on cramped desks, in broadcast vans, or as part of larger multichannel systems. The KH 750 DSP subwoofer is the natural companion if you need more low-end.
