Neumann KH 150 — DSP-Powered Nearfield Monitor with Extended Bass
The KH 150 sits above the KH 120 II in Neumann’s lineup, with a newly developed 6.5" woofer in a bass reflex cabinet for more weight down low. Neumann specs it to 39 Hz–21 kHz (±3 dB), so it can handle bass-heavy production and larger rooms more comfortably than smaller nearfields.
Like the KH 120 II, the KH 150 uses internal DSP — to keep the speaker’s behavior consistent. The DSP handles the crossover and provides linear phase processing (spec’d 105 Hz–16 kHz, ±45°, with latency < 2.6 ms). It also supports Neumann’s MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment, so you can calibrate the monitors to your room and listening position (MA 1 is sold separately).
A great pick for nearfield mixing and production when you want more low-end reach, plus the option to properly align the monitors to your room.
