The Morphor VCF Multimode is a complex filter that is easy to use and will surprise you with its flexibility.
The analog circuit design is made of dedicated lowpass and highpass filter cores that can be combined to create quite unusual filter sounds – if you want it to.
The module gives you access to both filters cutoff frequencies independently, through dedicated knobs and bipolar CV inputs. Of course, you can also set the resonance individually. This is all pretty straight forward and in fact there is nothing too fancy regarding the single parts of the module. But with the switchable pole selection and the second output that acts as both a bandpass and highpass output, depending on the position of the BP/HP mixing knob, you get a very versatile filter module that is easy to use and fits into any system.
Two side notes:
the module can self-oscillate: Dual sine VCO for free!
turning the BP/HP knob controls how much Lowpass filtering happens on the BP/HP output. This lets you create a strong bandpass, a clean highpass, or anything in between
