Manikin's Modul 2 — USB Ground Loop Isolator
Ground loops are a common headache in Eurorack systems using USB connections. These unwanted electrical paths between devices often manifest as crackling sounds and signal dropouts that can seriously degrade your audio quality.
The modul 2 tackles this issue head-on through galvanic isolation of the USB interface. By combining a high-performance isolation chip for data lines with a DC/DC converter for power supply separation, it creates an effective barrier between USB host and device connections. The result is clean, interference-free signal transmission.
