The 4VCO from Liquid Sky D-Vices is a ca.1991 vintage :-), no compromise 8-bit complex wavetable oscillator for Eurorack systems.
The 4VCO gives you that classic, aliased, 8bit wavetable sound, that goes so very well with analog filters. There are two 8-bit wavetable voices, each with 16 banks of 16 waves. Both have a pulse sub-output and track over 8 octaves. Nice LoFi sound, as only 8-bit samplers can do! Things get exciting when you use one of the six audio outputs to modulate the frequency of the Main Osc. The FM input responds linearly to input signals and does everything from highly complex LFOs to overtone-rich soundscapes.
4VCO also has internal analog VCAs that can be overdriven, hard-sync, and CV inputs for shape and mix functions. This means you can cycle the wavetable shapes with modulations and also mix the two voices via CV.
Each of the two voices has the same 6 base banks plus 10 individual banks.
4VCO can optionally be expanded with the GLITHc BOARD eXPENDR. Included are sequencers, MIDI, new routing options, different bitrates and various logic functions like AND, OR and NAND. GLITHc BOARD eXPENDR is currently only available as a set with 4VCO.
