L.E.P. ArpoVoce — Four Analog Voices Derived From the ArpoLoop in 60HP.
The ArpoVoce brings the voice architecture of L.E.P's ArpoLoop over to the world of Eurorack. This 60HP module packs a complete analog voice system with some nice routing options and a distinctive sonic character.
ArpoVoce is centered around four VCO's, each with specific talents. VCO1 and VCO3 feature hardsync, while VCO4 offers sine, square, and sawtooth waveforms with an additional LFO mode. The oscillators are connected in a cascade, allowing for FM synthesis and human-like vocal formants when using the sync functions.
It shines in its ability to create unique timbres through various synthesis methods. Hard sync between VCO1/VCO3 and VCO2 enables classic synthesizer sounds. A two formant voicing is possible by syncing both VCO1 and VCO3 with the same VCO2 allowing for human voice-like imitation. The first three VCO's all have FM capabilities as well.
Four VCA's add another layer of flexibility where each VCA can either respond to the three built-in envelope generators or transform into a ring modulator using VCO4. The cascading VCA design allows for velocity control or complex modulation chains - up to three VCAs can be linked together. A resonant bass drum and snare circuit round out the percussion section.
Six channels Audio Mixer with individual out for cassa, snare, stereo out with vca1\2 left and vca3\4 right, mono out. The external audio input on VCA1 and white noise generator with cutoff expand the sonic palette even further. Verdict? Pure analog pleasure — a competent companion for your system.

Tony Light and Peppo Lasagne have been behind the Milan-based Laboratorio Elettronico Popolare for quite a while now. Not only their small wooden boxes and unusual percussion modules are quite popular, the unusual LepLoop desktop synth has become part of Surgeon's sonic arsenal as of late.
