L-1 DM VCF — Discrete 24 dB Multimode State-Variable Filter
The DM VCF is a fully discrete multimode filter based on a 24 dB/oct state-variable design. L-1 uses doubled discrete gain cells in the filter core, giving it a particularly clean and precise response with a narrow, controlled resonance peak.
Compared with L-1's other discrete filters, the DM is the sharper and more neutral option: relatively low in added harmonics, fast in response and capable of stable self-oscillation across the frequency range.
