Silent Rails — Konstant Lab's Filtered Bus Board #2
Filtered Bus Board #2 is Konstant Lab’s new board that combines 19 output headers with straight connectors and additional filtered outputs. The layout is 13 direct headers, each with its own decoupling capacitor, plus 6 filtered headers that carry the same LC filtering circuits used in the earlier angled-connector Filtered Bus Board. These filtered headers are intended for analog modules that are sensitive to power quality; the decoupling capacitors and LC filters together reduce PSU and digital-module noise by approximately 70%. Two 4-way DIP switches allow the overall filtration capacity to be lowered if a power supply shows start-up problems under high output capacitance—useful when many digital modules are present.
All power rails include over-voltage protection for module and system safety, and the board is compatible with Konstant Lab power supplies as well as other Eurorack power supplies. Mount it, plug it, and forget about it—your modules will simply see clean, stable rails.
