JMT's NDE-1 brings a fairly standard collection of ingredients to the table, but the chef has turned it into a very versatile menu.
This model consists of two VCOs, sample & hold, noise generator, low-pass filter, LFO, VCA, and envelope generator. This combination can create a powerful and variable sound. One thing that makes this possible is the wide range of all components, the 4-pole filter that works very smoothly, and an external audio input (A IN).
You can also use it with a sequencer and other external gear via the VC A, CV B, CV F and G IN inputs to create even more sounds. Check out JMT's videos to get a better idea of the sonic versatility of this device.
The enclosure is made of two parts, the top is a nice acrylic panel and the bottom is a sturdy die-cast aluminum case.
