LD-2 is a CV-controllable synthesizer with two oscillators + suboscillator, noise generator, lots of LFOs, a good filter and as a refinement a great delay
LD-2 can sound relatively dreamy and smooth for JMT synths, contrary to the otherwise rather hard edge of drone and noise instruments. The delay and filter can turn the oscillators modulated by LFO's, noise and CV into choral clouds. Clear accentuated melodies and drones are also possible.
