Harrison Audio Flex-10 — 10-In/12-Out USB-C Audio Interface with Transformer Saturation, Analog Filters and ADAT I/O
A wonderfully hands-on desktop audio interface that brings some of Harrison's classic console character into the recording chain, with two mic preamps, analog filters and adjustable transformer saturation.
Harrison made its name with the pioneering 32-Series mixing consoles of the 1970s, used in major recording studios throughout the following decades. The Flex-10 brings some of that heritage into a modern desktop format, with two recording channels featuring Harrison mic preamps, dedicated line and front-panel Hi-Z instrument inputs, and high- and low-pass filters derived from those classic consoles. Switchable H-Drive transformer circuits add adjustable saturation, while balanced inserts let you bring in external processors. The illuminated analog VU meters and neatly divided controls are a rather handsome throwback to old-school studio gear, too. On the practical side, there are two independently controlled stereo monitor outputs, two headphone outputs and direct monitoring. Add 32-bit/192 kHz conversion, eight channels of ADAT I/O and MIDI connectivity, and you've got a capable little recording centrepiece. Harrison Mixbus 12 and the Creator Pack software bundle are included as well!
