GS Music - e7 Analog Polyphonic Synthesizer

The GS e7 is a fourfold multitimbral polyphonic analog synth with seven voices and a secret weapon for drifting pads!
In his native Argentina, GS founder Guido Salaya came up with what is probably the first seven-voice synthesizer in history with a fully analogue sound generation and analogue filter and an easy-to-understand, intuitive user interface. If you are familiar with subtractive synthesis, you will have no problem to immediately start knobbing. We like the drifting, wide sound character of e7. Bass, Leads, Pads... this synth convinces in all categories. Searing Leads are no problem, but it is e7's ability for pad sounds that is the highlight here. Very elegant!
At the heart of this synth are its two VCOs, which also have a sub-oscillator. Each of the fully analog oscillators provides triangle, sawtooth, pulse (with PWM, a hybrid of the two (Saw-Tri) and a noise generator. The pulse waveform can be mixed with the other waveforms, and the oscillators are also hardsync-capable. The two oscillators can be mixed together individually in the mixer section, as can the two sub-oscillators, while the noise generator shares a control with the input for external signals that can accompany the sound sources in the filter.
As a filter tool, the device has a four-pole, resonant analog VCF, which was inspired by the filter design of the Moog Taurus but is a modification of it.
To the left of the oscillator section are 3 LFOs with different waveforms (triangle, ramp up, ramp down, square, LFO 1/2 plus random/sample & hold). The frequency range is between 0.1 and 100 Hz, the first two LFOs can be switched between the operating modes Monophonic, Polyphonic (more complex modulations), KB Tracking, KB Synths, Clock Sync and Keyboard+Clock Sync.
In addition, two ADSR envelopes (EG generators) are available for parameter control, of which EG1 is intended for filter shaping and EG2 for VCA control, but can also control other parameters of the e7. Just like the LFOs, the envelopes are generated digitally by a microcontroller. Speaking of digital: a small OLED display in the middle of the device shows parameter changes in real time, providing a further degree of clarity.
The sound generation is rounded off by an equally intuitive effects section with chrous and delay as well as the "secret weapon" stereo spread, which provides additional richness and assertiveness to the sounds of the South American by distributing voices in the panorama.
The results of your sound experiments can be saved in over 600 preset memory slots. For communication with other devices, the e7 has DIN-MIDI and USB-MIDI connections, as well as outputs (mono/stereo/headphone), the aforementioned external input and CV inputs for pitch, cutoff and gain. And then there is also full MPE support. We like to imagine how that sounds with an Haken Continuum or Expressive E Osmose
