The Bree6 Keyboard is the first keyboard-based synthesiser from GS Music. A fantastic analog polysynth that we fell in love with straight away. Like the desktop version, the keyboard version offers 6-voice polyphony with an oscillator plus sub-oscillator, a mixer, ladder filter and VCA, as well as an LFO, two envelopes and effects!
With its signal path, the Bree6 Keyboard fits the classic image of an analog synthesizer. VCOs feed into a mixer, then into a filter, followed by the VCA and effects. True to this image, the Bree6 Keyboard delivers everything you’d expect. Warm, floating pads, crisp chords and enchanting melodies in unison mode! The Poly Stereo mode is also brilliant, spreading the individual voices throughout the room. Thanks to its compactness and robustness, we can see Bree6 Keyboard finding a home on many stages and in many studios!
The layout is wonderfully simple. There are no menus, and the display is just a handy aid. All the knobs are large, pleasant to the touch and clearly arranged. All in all, a well-rounded package, with a focus on clarity and quality.
As an extension of the desktop version, the Bree6 Keyboard features an advanced arpeggiator and a built-in sequencer, significantly expanding its creative possibilities. The arpeggiator offers multiple layers, enabling complex rhythmic patterns and evolving sequences, whilst the sequencer allows you to capture and develop musical ideas directly on the instrument.
