It is based on the classic rhythm composer circuit made by Roland, but offers considerably more parameters. Some of which are voltage controllable. At last, you can shape the gorgeous, punchy sound of the 909 in a multitude of ways.
The Erica Synths snare drum module was developed in collaboration with the French company e-licktronick.
Inspired by the TR-909 snare, it was designed with techno in mind.
Thanks to many parameters and CV control, including Tune and Decay, this module allows the creation of different snare drum sounds.
In addition, it has an accent input for more expression.
Erica Synths from Riga (Latvia) started with a whole line of Polivoks module clones about a decade ago. A lot has happened ever since and they have now one of the largest module portfolios in the eurorack world, all featuring their signature black front plates.
