Erica Synths MIDI Dispatch — Ultra-Low Latency 1-in 8-out MIDI Hub with Per-Output Filtering and USB-C Integration
The MIDI Dispatch succeeds Erica's original MIDI Thru Box with several new features. This desktop unit splits one MIDI input to eight outputs with ultra-low latency, but also adds comprehensive filtering and routing options that transform it into a really flexible MIDI hub. Each of the eight outputs can be configured independently, allowing you to connect multiple instruments to your MIDI keyboard or sequencer while controlling exactly what MIDI data each device receives.
The configuration interface runs directly in your web browser. Connect via USB-C, press the CONFIG button, and voilà — the device appears as external storage containing the web app. From there you can filter specific MIDI messages, remap channels, and choose whether each output receives data from the DIN input or USB connection. The USB-C port serves double duty, providing both power and direct computer connectivity for MIDI over USB.
The unit maintains near-zero latency (0ms in thru mode, 0.5ms with filtering active) and can be powered via USB-C or 12V DC adapter. Terrific option if you're in the market for a MIDI-splitter with some added extras for more complex MIDI routing scenarios.
