Erica Synths - Drum Sequencer
- Order number: 180139
- Depth: 30
X0X-style beat creation for modular systems – Erica’s drum sequencer is based on the concepts of classic Roland TR rhythm composers. The module offers 16 trigger channels, twelve of which also feature accent outputs. Additionally, there is a CV and a gate track, meaning you can also notate a bass line or melody. The maximum pattern length is 64 steps. Extensive playback and random functions plus two LFOs help you with creating lively results. Large buttons provide a fantastic feel while programming patterns.
Erica’s Drum Sequencer features 16 tracks with trigger outputs. Twelve of these channels also offer accent outs for emphasizing individual drum hits. In addition, there is one CV and one gate track. These channels are useful for adding a bass line or melody to rhythms.
A sequence can be up to 64 steps long. Time signature, playback direction, a shuffle function and the pattern length are individually editable for each track. Two LFOs with sync option allow you to modulate parameters of your drum modules. Automatic variations can be created using the Drum Sequencer’s probability feature. Retrigger and time shift options are available on a per step basis. Of course, the module also features solo and mute functions.
Recording patterns is done TR-style. Sequences can be stored in eight banks with 16 slots each. Several patterns can be linked. For synchronization, there are MIDI- and clock / reset inputs. The other way round, Erica’s Drum Sequencer is usable as master clock. You can update the firmware via SysEx files.
