The Black 3109 VCF/VCA is the new low pass filter from Erica Synths and is designed around the AS3109 VCF circuit, a contemporary version of the IR3109 chip from Roland's Jupiters, Junos and the SH-101
This module combines filter and VCA in a slim 10 hp. It delivers the classic sound of the above mentioned synthesizers, but without the familiar volume drop as resonance increases. For this purpose a volume drop compensation was implemented, which of course can be switched off. Furthermore there naturally are CV inputs for most parameters, as well as v/oct tracking for tonally playable resonance. The internal VCA allows for further fine tuning.
