The P7 continues Doepfer’s long tradition of extremely rugged Eurorack cases, but it also has something special to offer: It’s the first Doepfer case to feature a 1U row!
The legendary, portable flight-case-style cases with corner protectors, a lid, and a carrying handle have been a staple in studios and on stages for many years. The P7 offers three rows with space for 84 module units and a powerful power supply. With the long-proven PSU3, it features an excellent power supply and is one of the few cases on the market that doesn’t require an external power adapter - a standard IEC power cord is all that’s needed.
The PSU3 switching power supply delivers:
- +12 V: 2 A
- -12 V: 1.2 A
- +5 V: 2 A (max. 4000 mA with a 4-A fuse)
The lid is deep enough to allow the system to be transported while patched.
The usable depth for modules is approximately 70 mm in the area of the power supply (bottom right) and approximately 100 mm in the rest of the case.
