The Lickshot is a Dub Siren with all parameters you’ll need for those classic laser-gun and air-horn sound FX (add a delay)!
A Dub Siren is a simple yet powerful machine to add effect sounds to dub riddims, or any other music you like. With a carefully selected choice of controls, the Lickshot is all you need to create these crazy laser-gun and air-horn sounds – you can’t do anything wrong. Maybe that’s the appeal of these machines, ease of use and so much fun to play with!
The Lickshot has got a trigger button to switch the audio on or off, as long as the button is held down the audio is on. The VOLUME knob above controls the audio output level. TONE lets you select between 3 preset base-frequencies for the audio oscillator. FREQUENCY lets you further adjust this audio oscillators frequency. LFO RATE controls the rate of modulation of the frequency the audio oscillator is playing. Additionally, there’s an on/off switch for the LFO that lets you turn off the LFO. With activated LFO the Lickshot produces laser-gun-like sounds, when it is turned off, you’ll get the continuous air-horn-like sounds.
