Befaco’s IROI — Stereo Effects Processor with Filter, Resonator, Echo, Reverb and Randomizer Function
IROI brings the processing side of Befaco’s Oneiroi into a compact stereo effects module for external signals. Feed it a mono or stereo source and shape it through a chain of filter/VCA, resonator, 2-tap echo and ambience — from simple widening and filtering to denser, more animated spaces.
A nice feature here is that the filter/VCA block can be placed at different points in the chain, while internal modulation, CV mapping and randomization let you easily add movement to your processing. A handy processing tool to turn plain signals into something more colorful, stranger and more atmospheric.
If you've already heard the sounds of the Oneroi, you should have a pretty clear grasp about how this processor operates. Oh, and yes — the random button is obviously still there, we like random!
