The Befaco 7U Case & Backpack Set is the ideal combination for traveling with your Eurorack system - whether you’re heading to your next gig, the studio, or another continent.
This bundle includes the proven 7U Case and a high-quality backpack. The backpack is a perfect everyday companion and also ideal for traveling with your 7U Case. It features a soft padded interior to protect your gear during transport, and its expandable design provides extra space when needed—without sacrificing a sleek, everyday-friendly profile.
A dedicated laptop compartment ensures your computer is always within reach for performances, studio work, or spontaneous patching. With multiple accessory pockets, including a hidden compartment for knurlies and small essentials, there’s plenty of room for your cables, headphones, and power supplies.
The 7U Case stands out from the crowd with its thoughtful details. It’s durable, flat (but not too flat), and still relatively lightweight. The material is black anodized aluminum. The built-in power supply is one of the most powerful on the market, delivering 5A/+12V, 2.5A/-12V, and 4A/+5V. The busboards feature a total of 36 connectors, which is more than enough. It also includes a Kensington lock.
On the back, you’ll find a MIDI Trio (In/Out/Thru) alongside a USB B port (e.g., for USB-MIDI) and USB A charging ports. To the left of the MIDI ports are six large TS/TRS 1/4" jacks. These rear connections are compatible with Befaco or Intellijel 1U modules and use the Intellijel 1U pin system.
Another clever feature: the VESA mount of the Befaco Case. With a suitable VESA arm rated for loads over 12kg, the case can be quickly adjusted to the perfect angle.
