After Later Audio – Brooks
- Order number: 220486
After Later Audio Brooks is a compact 4HP basic oscillator with Thru-Zero-FM and all basic waveforms.
Brooks is best suited as a modulation oscillator within the COCO system (info below) but can also be used elsewhere. In addition to Thru-Zero-FM and the basic waveforms (sine, square, sawtooth, triangle) Brooks offers FM control, sync and time-reverse (soft sync).
Note: The SSI2130 chip used in Brooks may lock up at startup if the power rails are applied asymmetrically. In this case, the LFO/VCO switch must be flipped to unblock it.
The COCO system is intended to provide the deep sound-shaping benefits of a complex oscillator, while compensating for certain drawbacks such as lack of flexibility. Within the COCO series, oscillator functions and control module can be selected and combined to form a complex oscillator, but remain usable standalone if needed.
Features:
- Thru-Zero-FM
- Ranges (0V, 3V and 6V) adjustable via tuning switch
- 4 octave range adjustable via tuning knob (-2V to +2V)
- Hard Sync and Time Reverse (Soft Sync)

After Later Audio are Lenny and Clarissa from Seattle. They build clones of popular Eurorack modules but also have a much more extensive repertoire of self-designed modules for Eurorack systems.
