This small and apparently unspectacular breakout module expands the XAOC Batumi's functionality. It brings the jumper selectable options "reset behaviour" and "waveform selection" to the front panel.
The upper switch determines if the reset socket acts as a reset input or as a tap-tempo input.
With the two bottom swithces you can select which waveform will be output at the Saw/Assign socket. Choose between rising sawtooth, falling sawtooth, triangle and a trapezoid, depending on the switches' positions.
XAOC (as written in Cyrillic alphabet, pronounced "chaos") is an innovative Polish company that started offering a user interface for the Doepfer DIY synth named Karl Marx Stadt (nowadays, Chemnitz) and later designed the clever circular sequencer Moskwa. Besides the peculiarity of naming their modules after ex-Soviet cities, XAOC Devices have established themselves solidly in the eurorack scene offering appealing designs, like their recent Odessa oscillator, as mighty as the Battleship Potemkin.
