The successor to the discontinued TiNRS Tuesday is the next procedural CV sequencer NextTuesday.
Tuesday was the first module from This is Not Rocket Science (TiNRS) and a real melody pro. For various reasons, however, the module could no longer be produced, so TiNRS set to work on NextTuesday. Designed from scratch, with a new parameter and some new algorithms, this successor is a real improvement!
NextTuesday is a CV sequencer that generates sequences based on various algorithms. The module now boasts 14 different algorithms, with an additional test pattern intended for calibrating your oscillators.
The algorithms include acid basslines, chirp melodies, random, sample & hold and trance patterns! You get 3 parameters to edit the pattern, as well as the new root pot, which lets you choose the base note of the melody. The X and Y parameters behave differently depending on the algorithm, but always let you playfully create new patterns. The ! parameter increases the probability of notes occurring when turning clockwise. When turning to the left, it reduces this probability.
The two buttons on the left let you set the algorithm and scales. The two buttons on the right allow you to change the length and the number of ticks of the pattern.
Thanks to the internal quantizer, the melodies always remain in "musical" scales and the MOD output is now also quantized!
There are clock inputs and outputs with reset and you naturally get plenty of CV inputs to let your modular system change the patterns.
NextTuesday is a playful sequencer, ideal for live performers and generative approaches to sequencing.
Features:
- CV sequencer for melodies
- 14 algorithms + 1 test algorithm (formerly 8)
- Integrated quantizer with many scales
- 3 parameters for changing the sequence
- 1 new root parameter
- Mod output now also quantized
