Leaf Audio - Geophone L
- Order number: 240317
LeafAudio’s Geophone L is a nifty little seismic sensor designed to pick up low-frequency vibrations.
Are you on the hunt for low-end sounds, or curious to hear the low rumble of materials from within rather than just through the air? The LeafAudio Geophones are worth a look!
These geophones are excellent tools for any field recordist or sound designer looking to explore their surroundings from a new perspective. The Geophones are based on seismic measurement capsules that normally were intended to measure earthquakes. Available in two versions—Geophone S and Geophone L—both models are portable and come with a case and various mounting accessories.
You are looking at the Geophone L: Covers 15 Hz to 1000+ Hz, goes even lower and is a bit more sensitive than the S.
One thing to note: Geophones can sometimes pick up electromagnetic fields and interference in certain areas due to their design and sensitivity.
