Leaf Audio - Bass Kalimba Strips Only

The Leaf Audio Bass Kalimba Strips are replacement strips for use with the Bass Kalimba Set Add-On for Microphonic Soundbox and Microphonic Playground.

These strips can replace the shorter standard strips of the Microphonic Soundbox and are longer, so they sound deeper. They fit the newer Soundbox mk2 kalimba bodies, but not the older ones with carbon strips.

Two of the strips are thicker than the others (1.6 mm instead of 1.2 mm), which results in further sound variation.

The holes in the strips are designed to point in the direction of the player. You could also use them with individual hairs of a violin bow or attach something to them with steel wire. It's all a matter of exploration.
